Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ՕՍՄԱՆԵԱՆ ՊԵՏՐՈՍ - SP, a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Armenia, trading as Digital Wedding Invite (“Digital Wedding Invite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through digitalweddinginvite.com, our personalized digital invitations and related customer support.

1. Who We Are

For personal information we collect directly from website visitors and customers, the responsible business is:

  • Legal name: ՕՍՄԱՆԵԱՆ ՊԵՏՐՈՍ - SP
  • Business form: Sole Proprietor (SP)
  • Registration number: 286.1608224
  • Trading name: Digital Wedding Invite
  • Registered address: ԳՈԳՈԼԻ Փ., 119/1, ԵՐԵՎԱՆ, 0069, ԵՐԵՎԱՆ
  • Country of registration: Republic of Armenia
  • Privacy contact: hello@digitalweddinginvite.com

Where applicable privacy law uses the term controller, we act as the controller for customer accounts, inquiries, orders, support communications and our own website operations.

Couples decide which guests to invite and provide the guest names used in their invitation. For those guest records and RSVP responses, we generally act only on the couple’s instructions to provide the invitation and RSVP functionality. Depending on applicable law, this may make the couple the controller and us their processor or service provider.

2. Information We Collect

Information about couples and customers

We may collect information that you provide when you contact us, place an order, add wedding details or upload photos in your dashboard, request a final review or use setup support, including:

  • your name and contact details, such as your email address or the contact method you choose to use;
  • your partner’s name and other information you ask us to include;
  • wedding details such as the date, schedule, venue, map links, languages and event information;
  • photographs, written content, translations, preferences and design instructions;
  • guest names and other invitation settings that you provide;
  • your messages, feedback, approvals and support history; and
  • order details and records needed to provide the service.

Please provide only information that is reasonably needed for your invitation.

Information about guests

Guest information is intentionally limited. We process:

  • the guest’s name, usually supplied by the couple; and
  • the guest’s RSVP attendance response when the guest submits it through the invitation.

We do not ask guests to provide an email address or phone number. We do not use guest information for advertising, build marketing profiles about guests or contact guests on the couple’s behalf.

The couple is responsible for deciding whose information to provide, having an appropriate legal basis to do so and giving guests any notice required by applicable law.

Payment and transaction information

Payments are processed by Paddle. Paddle acts as the merchant of record and collects payment and billing information directly. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

Paddle may provide us with limited transaction information needed to fulfill and support an order, such as a transaction identifier, product, payment status, amount, currency and limited customer details. Paddle handles personal information under its own Privacy Policy.

Technical and website information

When you visit the website or an invitation, our systems and providers may automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, date and time, language, approximate region derived from IP and security or error logs.

3. How We Obtain Information

We obtain personal information:

  • directly from you when you contact us, order, add details or photos in your dashboard, or request setup support;
  • from the couple when they provide guest names and invitation content;
  • from a guest when they submit an RSVP response;
  • from Paddle when it confirms or supports a transaction; and
  • automatically through the website, invitations and the providers that operate them.

4. How and Why We Use Information

We use personal information only where we have an appropriate reason under applicable law. Depending on where you live, those reasons may include performing a contract, taking steps at your request before a contract, pursuing legitimate business interests, meeting a legal obligation or relying on consent.

We use information to:

  • create and provide access to your invitation and dashboard, host and maintain them, and provide setup support such as selecting and placing uploaded photos and checking your invitation;
  • display the correct guest name and record RSVP responses for the couple to view;
  • communicate with customers, provide support and resolve problems;
  • process and reconcile orders, refunds and payment status with Paddle;
  • protect the website, invitations, customers and guests from misuse, fraud and security threats;
  • maintain, troubleshoot and improve the reliability and accessibility of the service;
  • keep records, establish or defend legal claims and comply with tax, accounting, consumer and other legal requirements; and
  • send marketing communications only where you have separately opted in and where permitted by law.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include delivering and improving the service, securing it, supporting customers and administering the business without overriding the rights of the people concerned.

5. How We Share Information

We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Recipients may include:

  • Paddle, our merchant of record and payment provider;
  • Vercel, which hosts and deploys our website and related services;
  • Cloudflare, which provides domain-network, content-delivery and security services;
  • Supabase, which provides database and related storage services for our order and invitation operations;
  • Google Workspace, which provides our business email service;
  • Google Sheets and Google Apps Script, which we use to receive and manage contact-form submissions and send submission notifications; and
  • Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the website. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before loading it, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer;
  • professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers where necessary;
  • public authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights and safety; and
  • a buyer or successor if the business is reorganized, sold or transferred, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and under their contracts and applicable law.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share guest information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website uses essential cookies or similar technologies where needed for security and core functionality. Cloudflare may use essential technologies to protect the website and manage network traffic. Paddle may use cookies or similar technologies when its checkout is loaded to process payments, prevent fraud and provide buyer support.

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies. Where required by law, we request your consent before loading it; elsewhere it loads by default, and you can decline at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer. Declining analytics cookies will not prevent you from browsing the website or purchasing an invitation.

You can manage non-essential technologies through any consent controls we provide and control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential technologies may prevent parts of the website or checkout from working correctly.

7. International Transfers

We are based in the Republic of Armenia and may use providers that process information in other countries. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your country.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an approved mechanism such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard. Details may be requested at hello@digitalweddinginvite.com.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including contractual, security, legal, accounting and dispute-resolution needs.

InformationIntended retention
Invitation-related information, including the hosted invitation, dashboard content, wedding details, guest names, RSVP responses, uploaded photos, working files and related setup or approval communicationsDeleted one year after the wedding date
Contact-form and general customer-support records not connected to an invitationKept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records or resolve a dispute
Order, refund, tax and accounting recordsKept for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other laws
Security and technical logsKept for the period reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting, subject to the retention schedules of the providers that operate the relevant systems
Database backupsSupabase creates daily database backups for our Pro Plan and retains the last seven days. Information deleted from the active database may therefore remain in a backup until that backup expires. Supabase database backups do not include deleted files stored through its Storage service

Paddle determines how long it retains the payment and transaction information it controls under its own policy. We may keep information longer where required by law, where a dispute or legal claim is reasonably anticipated or where you ask us to preserve it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures include access controls, secure hosting and transport encryption where appropriate.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Customers should protect any private invitation link and contact us promptly at hello@digitalweddinginvite.com if they believe information or an invitation has been accessed improperly.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • request access to personal information about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask us to delete information in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing; and
  • complain to a data-protection or consumer authority.

To exercise a right, contact hello@digitalweddinginvite.com. We may need to verify your identity and may ask for information needed to locate the relevant records. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. These rights can be limited in some circumstances, for example where we must retain records to meet a legal obligation.

If you are a guest, you may contact the couple who sent you the invitation or contact us directly. Because we do not collect guest email addresses or phone numbers, we may need the invitation link, couple’s names and guest name to locate a record. We may coordinate a request with the couple where they control the guest list.

You may also complain to the competent data-protection or consumer authority where you live or work.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our ordering service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. A couple may include the name of a child who is a wedding guest, but we do not knowingly ask that child for an email address or phone number or use the child’s information for marketing. The couple is responsible for having any permission required to provide a child’s name.

If you believe a child’s information was provided improperly, contact hello@digitalweddinginvite.com.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

Invitations may contain links chosen by a couple, such as maps, registries, social media or venue websites. Those services operate independently and their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We are not responsible for how an external website handles information after you leave our service.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of a material change.
