Your website

How the website editor works

Move between steps, save your changes, skip what you're not ready for, and know what saves on its own.

Open the website editor

The Website section is a set of steps: The Basics, Events, Music, Your Photos, Dress Code and More Details. Depending on your design, a step may have a little more or less in it.

Moving between steps

On a computer, all the steps are listed on the left. On a phone, tap All steps. You can open any step at any time, in any order. There’s no need to finish one before starting the next.

Each step also has its own web address, like …/website#events, so you can bookmark it or come straight back to it.

Saving

Nothing is saved until you press the button at the bottom of the step.

  • With unsaved changes, it says Save & continue: it saves and takes you to the next step. On the last step it says Save, and you’ll see Saved. at the top when it’s done.
  • With nothing to save, it says Continue (on the last step: Everything on this step is saved).

Not ready for a step yet? Tap I’ll fill this out later → to move on without saving.

If you try to leave a step with unsaved changes, we’ll ask whether to Save & go, Discard & go, or Stay here, so nothing is lost by accident.

Things that save on their own

A few things are sent the moment you tap them, without the step’s Save button:

  • Choosing a dress code look, and saving its wording.
  • Requests to us, like a song we don’t have yet or your gift registry details. You’ll see “Sent straight to us. No need to save the step.”
