The Basics is the first step of the Website editor: the essentials every invitation needs.
Your names
Enter Your name and Your partner’s name the way you’d like guests to see them: full names, first names, or what everyone calls you.
If your invitation has two languages and a name is spelled differently in the second one, tap Spelled differently in… under the box and add that spelling. Otherwise you only type each name once.
Wedding date
Tap the date box to open a calendar. You can jump straight to a month and year with the dropdowns at the top. Your invitation uses this date for its countdown, if your design has one.
Invitation languages
Your invitation starts in one language. Tap + Add a language to add a second. You can have up to two languages. Need a third? Message us. More on two languages →
How guests RSVP
Choose how replies work:
- Open to everyone: anyone with the link types their name and replies. No guest list needed.
- Personal links only: each guest or family gets a private link with their names ready. Guests without a link can’t reply.
- Both: personal links for your guest list, plus an open form for everyone else.
