You choose this in The Basics step of the Website editor, under How guests RSVP.
Open to everyone
Anyone with your invitation’s link types their name and replies. There’s no guest list to set up.
Best for: relaxed weddings, or when you’d rather not manage a list. Keep in mind: anyone the link is forwarded to can reply too.
Personal links only
Each guest, couple or family gets their own private link, with their names already filled in. Guests without a link can’t reply.
Best for: when you want to know exactly who’s invited, control plus-ones, and see who hasn’t answered yet.
Both
Personal links for your guest list, plus an open form for everyone else.
Best for: a main guest list with a few people you’ll invite more casually.
What changes in your dashboard
- With personal links or both, the RSVP Responses section has a Custom Invitations tab where you create invitations, plus an Awaiting count of guests who haven’t replied.
- With open to everyone, you’ll only see Responses.
Changing your mind
You can switch at any time, and your guest list stays saved. Before switching to Personal links only, make sure everyone has their link, or they won’t be able to reply.
