Every invitation in Custom Invitations has its own link. When a guest opens it, their names are already there, ready to reply.
Step 1: Write your message (once)
- Tap Customize Message.
- Write the message that goes with every link, e.g. “We’re getting married! Here’s your invitation, please reply by…”
- If your invitation has two languages, write it in each one. You can also add more languages just for messages with Add a language.
- Tap Save.
The same message is used for everyone. Only the link changes, so don’t include names in it.
Step 2: Copy and send
Under each invitation:
- Copy message (including link) copies your message with that invitation’s link underneath. This is what you’ll usually want. It appears once you’ve written a message in step 1.
- Copy link copies just the link.
With two languages, you’ll be asked which language to copy. The link then opens the invitation in that language.
Then open WhatsApp (or any messaging app), paste, and send.
Step 3: Mark it as sent
Flip the switch on the invitation from Not Sent to Sent Invitation. The date you sent it is shown on the card, so you can see at a glance who still needs theirs.
Tips
- Always send the invitation’s own link, not your invitation’s general address. The general address doesn’t know who the guest is.
- Send a test to yourself first: create an invitation with your own name, copy it, and open it on your phone.
- Renaming an invitation doesn’t change its link, so links you’ve already sent keep working.
