Guests & RSVPs

Add guests and invitations

Create an invitation for a single guest, a couple or a family, with names or just a number, and allow a plus-one.

Open Custom Invitations

Invitations live in RSVP Responses → Custom Invitations. (Don’t see that tab? It appears when you use personal links. Choose how guests RSVP →)

Each invitation gets its own link. Think in invitations rather than people: one for each guest, couple or household that will open it and reply together.

Create an invitation

Tap Add Invitation, then choose who it’s for.

A single guest

  1. Choose Single guest.
  2. Enter the Guest name. This name also appears on their personal link.
  3. Choose Guest of: your side, your partner’s side, or Mutual.
  4. Tick Plus 1 if they may bring someone.
  5. Tap Create invitation.

A group or family

  1. Choose Group or family.
  2. Enter an Invitation label, e.g. Smith Family. This name appears on their link.
  3. Choose Guest of.
  4. Choose how to add them:
    • Name each person: list everyone by name.
    • Just a number: set the Number of guests, and they type their own names when they reply.
  5. Tap Create invitation.

Edit an invitation

Tap Edit Invitation (the pencil on a phone) to rename it, add or remove people, switch between names and a number, or turn Plus 1 on (for invitations with named guests). You can also leave a private Admin note on a guest. Guests never see it. Tap Save all.

Good to know

  • Plus 1 allows one extra person per invitation, not one per guest.
  • Guest of can’t be changed after you create an invitation. If you need to change it, delete the invitation and create it again.
  • Renaming an invitation doesn’t change its link, so links you’ve already sent keep working.

Add a guest to an existing invitation

Open the invitation and tap Add Guest at the bottom.

Delete

  • Delete (the bin icon on a phone) on an invitation removes it and all its guests, permanently.
  • The bin icon next to one guest removes just that person.

Next: send each guest their link →
